K.A.K The Blog: How can we celebrate and appreciate our Merdeka Day.

Hello readers..its a combo celebration time for me..Merdeka day + Ramadhan..its a bonus i would say..

because people of Malaysia will enjoy things that other country dont have..for instance..the Baazar Ramadhan where people of Malaysia will have the opportunities to sell and buy variety of foods at a lower than usual price..Here in my place at Melaka..everyday during the month of Ramadhan there will be several Bazaas open at strategic location for local people to buy foods for their break fast..

the most famous one in Melaka i would say Taman Cempaka Bazaar Ramadhan..in Malay words the expression i use to express the scene at Taman Cempaka Bazaar Ramadhan will be... " orang macam semut di situ"

okay enough with the Ramadhan part..let's move on to the Merdeka part..i dont want to talk history bacause i believe history sources are everywhere across the country..we can even find it at our national archieve...however.. what i want to discuss here at K.A.K The Blog are the ways we Malaysians can celebrate our Merdeka day...

1. Raise our flag.. make it wallpaper ...in the phone..the desktop..and etc..

2. Sing our national antherm.. download it...make it your ringtone if wish to..

3. Try to learn our history..remember those who fought for the independence of the country..remember and understand the role of Rukun Negara..

4. write a post on your blog about anything related to the independence day..if you dont have a blog ..write it on your diary..

5. make Merdeka biscuits with friends or family ..for Muslims..its a combo time..make a Merdeka and Raya biscuits all together..

6. while shopping for Hari Raya..go shop for the barangan buatan Malaysia..

7. if u have extra money...go buy this year national cloth ..on the picture..i dont remeber which is chosen by the PM to be our this year's Merdeka cloth..but to me all are beautiful and affordable..i think Mydin will sell this batik cloth..
wear it at all functions u have especially throughout this month..

8. and learn to respect others despite of their differences with us..i know..we have different ideology..especially in terms of political view..so try not to get to emotional on the subject..in the end..we are all like brothers and sisters ..We live in the same old house and we will always try to make it a better place to live happily together..

9. Enter any competition regarding Merdeka day..and make it wonderful.. and cheerfull for everyone..

10. Make yourself 'Merdeka' from any bad influence..that might change u to be someone else other that yourself.. so that in the end.....we make our own choice...our own future..not others..we may get advice from others but we make decision ourselves..
