I am in love with Nokia C7 and Symbian^3...

looking from the design of it..i can say 3 words..

elegance

stylish

and

unique..

This phone operates using Symbian^3 OS by far the most advance Symbian line up till today..

what are the things that one should expect to see in this new Symbian^3 OS???

here are the new things that i notice base on my own observation from videos, articles, reviews and in hand experiences..

Nokia claims that the new OS has at least 250 new changes to the system.

but lets move on to my list of the changes in the new Symbian^3 shall we??..

1. The new multiple home screens , or should 1 call it tri- home screens because the maximum number of home screen that it can offers are limited to three..however to be fair, i think it is more than enough because you can put a total number of 18 widgets on the homescreens.

2. Customizable home screen widget, did you know that the first Nokia home screen based widget was introduced in Nokia N97?? well guess what?? this technology is no longer an exclusive feature of the Nokia N97, it has expanded to all Symbian^3 devices..and 1 thing i notice about the Symbian^3 widgets are that you can use the same widgets repeatedly.. which means that the same widget can be used in more than one screen at the same time.. nice huh?? well some OSes do not have that..even for Nokia N900 not all of their home screen widgets can be used at more than one home screen at a time..thats something that one must put in mind..

3. Visual multi tasking. Seriously, if multi tasking is good..then visual multitasking is better than good...why?? because it gives us the option to view visually which programs that are still running at the time..its easy and fun to have it like that..so this is another point why one must choose to buy Symbian^3 phones..

4. Cover flow in the phone native music application..this is something new in the Symbian history..and as my personal point of view..if they (the people who created Symbian) managed to this in the music section, why cant they implement the whole concept of smoothness and 'eye catchy' of the cover flow to the whole phone's User Interface??? i think this is the cause why people are running away from Symbian... (considering the fact that Nokia is loosing its market share in smartphone segment..) 

5. 3D graphic accelerator.. i notice that all Symbian^3 phones have this..and what does this means?? it means that the capability to handle 3D gaming..since Symbian is not the most up to date OS in the market today..but to have this feature in it.. gives it advantage to people who like to play games in the mobile..so far there have been several popular 3D games release for Symbian^3 ..Avatar, Warriors of Spartan as well as the famous Asphalt 5..

6. USB on the go support. This is another feature that Symbian^3 has to offer..but unfortunately, Nokia offers it straight away in the box only with Nokia N8..and not with other Symbian^3 models..i dont understand this..Nokia USB on the go cable can only be found exclusively at Nokia outlet..which at my place, they still dont have it with them..so why on earth Nokia put USB on the go features in Symbian^3 devices other than N8?? i think to have the feature is good, only if they provide USB on the go cable together with all Symbian^3 devices out from the boxes...

So as a Symbian and Nokia supporter i would recommend you all to use Symbian^3 Os as it offers more than enough functionality that modern users might need to use in their daily activities..As for me my favourite Symbian^3 device will be the one i mentioned above..Nokia C7 because, honestly to me it is one of its kind.. and im sure everyone will love it as much as i do !
