When?
It was few days before. It was the day that i regard as happy time. A time where everything was unique. A day where i went to other country. To deny my emotion is too egoistic for me. I wish i could do that, but this is me. I am what I am. I never wish to hide any positive feelings i have had these past few days. First it was the trip, then the mini re-union with friends from Sekolah Kebangsaan Bachang.
How?
I took the challenge of becoming the project leader for this trip to Brunei. With the help of extra-ordinary friends and lecturers as well as family, i managed to settle things to where it suppose to be. I would like to use this opportunity to express my respect and gratitude to my fellows friends for their superb performance and commitments especially to AZSM (you should know who you are if you are reading this) for he guides me through out this project~ The same thing goes to all my other classmates..they too are equally important and i am proud to say that i adore every single person that contribute to this trip. Thanks a zillion times for a wonderful and memorable experience with you all. That is how it happens. The mini re-union? It was a gift. I never planned on attending any re-union made by my previous classmates but this time I planned to be flexible and unexpected. So there I am, spending time with friends from 13 years back who now are professionals as well as professionals in the making. I'm glad I have the opportunity to meet them once in a while.
What?
Its a trip, its a journey, its something that one can never value it with money, its a meeting, its a confrontation, its a feeling, its a moment that I wish I could have forever. A bit of worry mix with happiness, joy, fun, the feeling of being responsible, a time of triumph and disaster, a moment of awkwardness, a moment of accepting my own weaknesses. So in short, it should be an opportunity for a man to decide whether he wanted to be somebody or nobody to himself. He should make the right choice. And I wish they know i am praying the best for them all.
Who?
The answer to this question is simple. It is so simple that I could answer it with only a single word. And that single word is Human. YES. Human. Lecturers, students, friends, Bruneians, families, girlfriend, classmates and Ex- classmates.
Where?
Brunei is the first location, in Brunei there were several places, some which is similar with Malaysia, and some which is not familiar with Malaysia. Kampung Air the biggest water village in the world, the Museums in Bandar Sri Begawan, University Brunei Darussalam, Oil and Gas Discovery Centre, Petroleum Monument, The Mall, Empire Hotel and other notable landmarks of Brunei such as the Sultans' Mosque etc. Next location is Melacca where the re-union took place. Hatten square, Dataran Pahlawan and Jonker Walk.
I learned many things from this mid- term break, but one that I really learned and will never forget is :
I can never live alone. I need people around me. Be it good people or bad ones. They will be our reminder, they will reflex to us our own image. What we are is what people reflex to us. If I wish to live as a somebody to myself , I need them, I need people around me to teach me, to help me, to influence me, to guide me, to share the knowledge that I might have, and most importantly to improve myself for the future challenges.
Come to think about it again and again it was not about Brunei that makes this trip a blasting one. It was you guys~ ( you know who you are)
