Well, the video above is taken via Nokia N900. And as you can see from the video, the handphone's screen was clearly recorded. However, even though N900 was spec as auto-focus camera phone, it's video recording capabilities does not support what they called as continuous auto-focus like the one found in the Nokia N8.
However the overall video recording quality is good as all the fonts and display elements on the Nokia phone recorded on the video above can be seen clearly without any blur or distortion. How the camera in N900 works in macro video recording? well it seems to me that N900 only has fixed focus macro video recording capability. It only record on the fixed focus point at the moment you click the record button on the phone and it does not re-focus the camera after that. If you wish to re-focus then you will have to stop the on going video recording and record a new one with new focus point.
Well thats it for my experience using Nokia N900 macro video recording capabilities. One thing that really surprises me is that after 1 year using the N900, only today i realized that it has macro video capability.
