Nokia N8 is out for Malaysian Market..

this is the moment Nokia lovers been waiting for..

the Nokia N8 has reached the Malaysian market with the introduction price RM 1799..

its quite expensive though considering the fact that it is only a Symbian^3 device which by far the most inattractive operating system for handphones as compared to Androids and IOS..(at least thats what the Americans are saying)

however considering the fact that it is new to the market..

and it is good to start with higher price so that it can gradually be reduced to a lower price..

i'd tried the phone already..

as for my honest opinion..

here are some thoughts of mine about N8 relatively to N900:

1. OS: N900 with maemo is better performance, however since Nokia will no longer use maemo OS in future..so that's a reason to make a switch from N900 to N8.

2. Web Browser: N900 has a better browser than the nokia N8, however if u are a Nokia Symbian user..you can still get used to the N8 browser.. its not that bad..but its not good either...

3.  Camera: N8 has a better camera than the n900..furthermore, the front facing camera is functional and can be used for video calling...the picture quality of the n8 is superior as compared to n900

4. materials: in terms of materials..n8 is built on premium materials..it gives u the feeling of having a high status when u are holding it.. however the same goes to n900..

5. USB on the go: this is something that is usefull to me as student.. it really makes thing a lot easier when you can directly tranfer your files from your pendrive directly  to N8 via cable without the need for a computer..

6. Price: N900 was introduced in Malaysian market with the priced aroud RM 1500 and now the current market price is around RM 1100. Hopefully the price of N8 will be lowered soon..

7.Screen: the N8 screen is more or less the same size with the N900. however i found myself enjoying videos better in N8 screen..maybe because it is new..i dont know..may be because it is an Amoled technology.

8. Social network intergration: N900 is better for sure..In N8 the social network intergation (ovi client) is a little slow..you have to use the Ovi client to upload photos to Facebook and twitter..which is a bit dissapointed..

9. Responsiveness vs Camera vs Price vs Operrating system: so to conclude my opinions on N8..i would recommend those who wish to buy Nokia N8 to consider the following consideration:

Responsiveness vs Camera vs Price vs Operrating system:  these are the areas that you should look for when deciding to buy Nokia N8 because with the same amount of price there are other phones in the market that offers a better score in these 4 areas..
